QUESTIONS
Frequently asked
GlazeWright provides professional surface refinishing for eligible bathtubs, showers, sinks, countertops, and tile. Refinishing restores an existing surface rather than automatically replacing the fixture or surface. It can be a practical option when the existing surface is still suitable for restoration but has become worn, stained, chipped, damaged, or outdated.
GlazeWright provides refinishing services for a range of eligible surfaces, including standard bathtubs, bathtub and 3-wall surrounds, shower pans, shower floors, freestanding and clawfoot tubs, Jacuzzi and oversized tubs, bathroom sinks, vanity tops, kitchen countertops, bathroom countertops, kitchen and utility sinks, and eligible wall or floor tile.

Material and condition may need to be reviewed before a project is approved.
The terms bathtub refinishing, bathtub reglazing, bathtub resurfacing, and tub restoration are commonly used for processes that renew an existing bathtub surface. GlazeWright professionally prepares and refinishes eligible surfaces to create a renewed finish.
Refinishing can be a practical alternative when an existing bathtub, shower, sink, countertop, or tile surface is still usable but has become worn, stained, chipped, damaged, or outdated.

Restoring the existing surface can help avoid automatically replacing a fixture or surface that may still be suitable for refinishing.
The cost of surface refinishing depends on factors such as the surface type, material, size, condition, preparation requirements, and project scope.

GlazeWright reviews the project details before providing an estimate rather than applying one price to every surface.
You can request an estimate by submitting your project details, photos, contact information, and ZIP code through the online estimate process.
Photos help GlazeWright understand the surface, its condition, and whether the requested refinishing service may be appropriate.
Photos are important for many projects because they allow GlazeWright to review the surface material, condition, visible damage, and project scope.

For certain services, photo approval is specifically required. For example, kitchen and utility sinks must be eligible non-stainless materials and require material approval from photos.
GlazeWright assesses the existing surface and its condition before work begins. Appropriate preparation or repair can be addressed where applicable, depending on the surface and extent of the damage.

If unexpected damage changes the project scope or makes refinishing inappropriate, the situation will be explained before proceeding.
A previously refinished surface may be considered depending on its existing coating, condition, adhesion, material, and suitability for another refinishing process.

GlazeWright can review photos and project details before determining whether refinishing is appropriate.
Not necessarily. Refinishing suitability depends on the material and condition of the individual surface.

GlazeWright reviews the surface before proceeding rather than assuming every bathtub, shower, or other fixture is suitable for refinishing.
Bare stainless-steel sinks are not included in GlazeWright's Kitchen / Utility Sink refinishing service.

The service is intended for eligible non-stainless kitchen and utility sinks, and the sink material must be approved from photos before refinishing.
